    L.A. FAMILY HISTORY CENTER WILL BE CLOSING APRIL 25th FOR EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS AND WILL NOT REOPEN FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS.   THE FHC in Torrance is an alternative location for research - although they do not have access to ancestry.com.    LAPL is also another alternative for doing genealogical research.
